FAQ.
(1). If you donated blood recently. You must wait a minimum of 56 days between whole blood donations. You must wait at least 7 days after donating blood before you can donate platelets. After an automated double red cell collection, you must wait 112 days before donating again.
(2). Do you need an appointment? Answer, no. Walk ins are allowed. However, you are recommended to call. O positive blood need platelets and that typically takes longer. City of Hope donations are closed on Sunday.
(3). Where do you park? You will park at LOT B. You will enter at Village Road. Make a left on treelane. Drive all the way down and LOT B will be on your right side.
(4). What if you don’t have the right blood? That is ok. Tim is credited for the donation. And if O Blood comes in it will be allocated for him.
