IRVINE– The Irvine Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying the driver of a black Jaguar XJ who struck and seriously injured a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
On Thursday, August 12, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a 31-year-old woman was crossing Encanto at Molino in the City of Irvine when she was struck by a passing vehicle.
The woman sustained a broken arm, dislocated shoulder, and head injuries. The driver of the vehicle sped away without stopping to render aid to the victim.
The vehicle is believed to be a black Jaguar XJ with tinted windows and aftermarket chrome rims. The vehicle may have damage to the front bumper or hood as a result of the collision.
