Celebrate the City’s 50th Anniversary with Dancing at Great Park

Enjoy a DJ and live band while dancing the night away Saturday, August 28

IRVINE: Celebrate the City of Irvine’s 50th anniversary at the Studio 50 Dance Party at Great Park Saturday, August 28, 6–9:30 p.m. Put on your best disco-era attire and come groove to the sounds of the ‘70s, in honor of the City’s founding in 1971.

This event is free and open to all ages. The party starts with a live DJ at 6 p.m. and continues with a seventies-inspired set from local favorite Southland Mega Groove, starting at 7:45 p.m. A dance floor will be out in front of Hangar 244 for you to show your best moves, surrounded by fun ‘70s décor and photo backdrops.

Food trucks will be on-site, or you can pack your own picnic to enjoy. Space for picnic areas will be available near the dance floor, so bring your chairs and enjoy the music. Registration is not required for this event.
